Go Green This Summer

My Fit Fem'rs I want you all to go green this summer! And I don't mean environmentally conscious (but if you are that is absolutely awesome!), I mean fill your summer with some scrumptious and nutritious green veggies! Let me tell ya why. Did you know that green vegetables improves your immune system, that they help make your bones stronger and that they regulate body temperature (not bad during these hot days huh?)? So the color of this summer is green green green!
Take a bite out of some of these green yummies!
- Bok Choy
- Swiss Chard
- Green beans
- Collard Greens
- Romaine Lettuce
- Cabbage (yea I know it's a pretty pale green, but green nonetheless)
- Brussel Sprouts
Can you think of any other greens you should be consuming? Tell me, which ones are your favorite?? (Mine is kale)
