Six Pack Summer by Jonnie

One of the most common questions trainers get from clients is, "How do I get a flat stomach?" Now that summer is here, there are a lot of us that are still working towards a flat stomach or have just given up and think that it's never going to happen.
 
So although we may not all want a full-blown six pack (that definitely excludes me, the more muscle the better!), we all definitely want a flat tummy. Here are my top tips to get one! WHOOP WHOOP!!
 
Train as hard as you can - Take Sylvia's (The Fit Fem's) kickboxing for your cardio, go for a run and break a sweat!
Strength train- One of my favorites! When I say to strength train that does not mean lifting 5 pound weights for 25 reps, nor does that mean to lift 200 pounds for 5 reps. It means to pick a weight that you can complete 8 to 12 reps with, making sure you have proper form of course! The more muscle you have, the tighter you look and the more calories you burn just sitting down!!!
Eat clean-There is nothing that will get you further from getting a flat stomach than hitting up the cookie jar or vending machine for a meal! Eat every few hours. Consume about 200 to 300 calories so that you never get crazy hungry and start craving crap!
