The Fit Fem Cafe: Bean Salad by Ali Watterson

Ali is an avid Fit Fem reader

Hey Fit Fem'rs welcome to the Fit Fem Cafe! Each week I will be giving you a healthy meal or snack that you can devour without any guilt! Yeah Baby! This week's scrumptious meal is a bean salad from my girl Ali! This is the message I got from my girl. Check it out!

....

So I just made this dinner that I pulled "out of my ass" because I didn't want to go food shopping and thought if you or any of your Fit Fem followers love to eat beans maybe they would like this.

Here are the yummies:
1 can of reduced sodium pinto beans
1 stalk of romaine lettuce (chopped)
Turmeric (a cancer fighting seasoning)
Extra virgin olive oil
Parmesan cheese

In a sauce pan (on stove top) put in 2 tablespoons of the extra virgin olive oil and then add the pinto beans and cook them for about 2 minutes. Add the turmeric and give the beans in the pan a good mix. Throw in the romaine lettuce and mix it well. Cover the sauce pan for another 1 to 2 minutes. Put it all on a plate and top it with Parmesan cheese and you're done! So quick and easy!

I am a huge bean eating lover and I just thought that if you had any clients or followers that love beans and want a quick and easy meal they should try this. They say turmeric is a cancer fighting seasoning. And you can supplement the ingriendents for whichever bean or lettuce you like. Even make it all organic (cheap organic!!).

Bon Appétit!

So there you have it, my girl Ali hooking up all my Fit Fem readers with this fantabulous bean recipe! YUM!!

Show her some love and send me more recipes. I'd love to post them and share them!
