Vintage Fitness Equipment

Hey my Fit Fem'rs. I decidced today to take ya wayyy baaaaaaaack! Whoop Whoop! Technology has changed a great deal of things and that includes fitness equipment and items. Remember when things were simple? No tons of buttons, no TVs attached, no noises if you can believe it! Things were run by batteries and did not have to be charged. Let's go back and see if you remember any of these.
The "Old" Treadmill-Now not that long ago,the only thing that ran a treadmill were the two feet on it. There was no on or off switch, no inclines, no different levels, nothing.

The ThighMaster- In the late 80s and early 90s every woman had one in their home! I remember seeing one in mine. Yikes! If you were a kid during the time, you remember seeing it in the corner of a room and trying to figure out how to use it. Is it there for decoration or is it a weapon? Oh and for those who don't know, before there was Kim Kardashian, Suzanne Summers was the hot mama everyone wanted to be!

The Discman- Ha! Before the iPod there was the Discman! You would put in your favorite CD (yes one CD with like only 15 songs. Can you imagine?!) before you go to the gym. And you had to be super careful. If you dropped it during a workout, that would be a disaster!

Workout Tapes- Before having a gym membership was as common as having a job, many worked out in their homes. All they needed were their sneakers and their VCR (yes a VCR, don't act like you don't remember girl!).

Hope you enjoyed today's walk down memory lane. And for an extra treat, enjoy this 1992 hit that you can workout to and that reminds you just how sexy you are! Whoop Whoop!
Keeping the fun in fitness!
