When I first saw Sylvia, she was just hired for XSport Fitness to teach the kickboxing class and she was asked to take one of the other instructor's classes to try it out. I'm usually up in front of the class, so I watched her through the mirror to see what the "new girl" would be like when it came down to taking her class. From what I saw, Sylvia had such high energy and she packed a powerful punch. I told myself I'd take her class and when I did, I left in a lot of pain. It was worth every minute.
Sylvia has trained me hard and helped me lose 5 lbs. and 2.5% body fat within two weeks time. She would work my body to the point of exhaustion and even though it would be painful and tiring, her workouts produced quick and wonderful results. I felt so much better about myself and I felt much stronger than before. Sylvia is one great trainer and I'd recommend her to anyone. She really knows how to work your body and she also is very intellectual with nutrition and dieting.
On top of being a wonderful trainer, she's also a great friend who has always cheered me on throughout my own journey to become a personal trainer. Sylvia was very positive before I was about to take my exam. When I passed and finally told her I was a trainer, she took me under her wing and began to show me the in's and out's of fitness and nutrition. She has always been positive with me, as well as all her clients. I am very thankful for meeting her and for all her help. You're the best, Sylvia! Thank you!
When my friend Sheila sent me the link to this site, I didn't realize it was Superwoman Sylvia from XSport until I saw the photos! LOL...Sylvia's classes are absolutely amazing & full of energy. I take her kickboxing classes, the circuit training drills aka 20/20/20, the abwork classes & the totalbody weightlifting classes.
I have been working out for quite a while now & my body is used to most of the instructors' classes out there but with Sylvia's classes I am never bored & my body is always in for a shock which is always a good thing since you're supposed to switch up your workout routine from time to time. She changes up the classes on whim to make sure you're always kept on your toes--literally & figuratively. Also, she plays awesome music which gets the adrenaline going & makes the classes totally fun & upbeat! I forgot to add that she is also very approachable, down to earth and always smiling!! She always has great tips & advice whenever I have any fitness-related concerns.
She is truly an asset to XSport & where-ever else she instructs! PS: Remember ladies, pain is inevitable but suffering is optional...so work at it & never quit on yourself; be it your physical, mental or emotional state of well-being!!
Sylvia's kickboxing classes are so addicting! You just want to keep going back for more. I have been taking her classes for a year and half and it's helped contribute to my weight loss of 50 pounds. She makes her classes exciting. She gets you all into the moves making you work so hard. Her confidence and inner fire really rubs off on you!
She recently became my personal trainer also. I chose her because I believe in her work ethics. I believe that she will make me sweat every minute of my session and will definitely help me reach my goal weight. She’s not afraid to push me beyond my limits and she makes me believe in myself. She really knows how to motivate me and make me work to my fullest potential.

I first met Sylvia through my good friend Laurie. At the time I had just joined the gym and needed a little bit of a boost to get there. Laurie, who was getting personal trained by Sylvia, talked me into taking her kickboxing class. Little did I know what exactly was in store; as I stood on the workout floor, I noticed how packed the room was now I understand why Laurie told me to “save her a spot “. The music starts and out walks this petite brunette who looked harmless.
Well after 120 jumping jacks in the beginning of class and 45 minutes later of my butt getting kicked I was dripping with sweat and hooked. I admit the first time was painful but her energetic personality and style of teaching is what makes you go back. Sylvia pushes you to try your best and to never give up. Her classes are motivational and fun. I have been going to her classes for 4 yrs and often recommend her to any new member or anyone that just needs to get off their behinds and want to get healthy.
Sylvia is not only a great instructor and trainer but she is now one of my best friends and I am so happy to have been introduced to her.
What makes a really good fitness instructor? What really stands out is someone with an amazing energy and a personality where the class can feel motivated, comfortable and not intimidated. Nobody wants to go into a class where the instructor has no energy and doesn't connect with anyone. That's really like watching a movie screen....you might as well buy a DVD and work out at home.
Sylvia comes into the room with an energy that is contagious. She has a smile on her face and is always enthusiastic and ready to challenge you. She is extremely approachable. For some people, it's hard enough to get them to go to a gym, but to go into a group fitness class can be somewhat intimidating.
Sylvia doesn’t make you feel bad if you can’t keep up or about how you look. In fact, she makes every feel comfortable enough to want you to push some more. Sylvia always walks around the room to not only motivate people, make them count with her while she is doing a million jumping jacks, but she also will show you the proper technique if she feels your form is off. Besides her attitude being so positive, there is a method to her madness!!
You definitely are feeling the burn in her classes - she keeps the moves simple and easy to follow, yet are challenging and highly effective. She knows how to switch up the routines with different moves so that no one ever gets bored. Her music is uplifting and her energy is dynamic.
I love you, you know it! You really energize me to do my best in your class.
Sylvia is an energetic instructor who gave me the motivation to become a group fitness instructor myself!

I had the pleasure of meeting Sylvia Nasser about 2 years ago when I decided to experiment with a kick boxing class. In walked an energetic, young and very motivating teacher. I was impressed with her stamina and the enthusiasm she had for all of us to get started. I really enjoyed her teaching style, and how she got me to really move. I was never into exercise before. She was responsible for kicking me into shape.
I am impressed with your classes, Sylvia, and your high energy. I have to say that each time I worked out with you - you have given me the hardest workout I have ever had. Having said that, I have had many group classes of various modalities and those that take your class are not in for a mediocre-every day class.
They will get a hard class that emphasizes correct form, high energy - one that is inspirational and all done with a smile. I am perhaps one of your newest friends that you have met as well perhaps one of your biggest fans.
Over the course of the past year, I have taken a number of classes taught by Sylvia. The two different class types that I have taken are her Total Body Toning and her Cardio Kickboxing. Both classes were extremely challenging and enjoyable. Sylvia is a great motivational fitness instructor. There were times when I would want to take a break during the class and she would come by and talk me through the workout encouraging me to continue. She gets the class involved and pumped up to get the most out of the class.
I would recommend everyone to attend a class taught by Sylvia. You will leave the class feeling fit and accomplished. She takes fitness to the next level! She’s an amazing fitness instructor…TAKE HER CLASS!!!!!
